Bella

A custom built 38’ Down East Style Lobster yacht designed for fast and comfortable cruising between the Canadian Maritimes and the Caribbean.

Bella is a floating exhibit of the design and fabrication abilities of Tern Boatworks. She was brought to Tern as a bare hull to be fitted with an engine and drivetrain, systems, interior, and deck hardware. We designed a custom interior to suit the owner and created a comfortable boat to take down south. Built from reinforced plastics, composite panels and careful use of wood throughout interior accommodations, Bella offers a low maintenance modern interpretation of a classic design. Boasting state of the art electrical and navigation systems along with an efficient diesel power plant, Bella was a truly challenging and evolving project whose success speaks for itself in the completed vessel.
